Bladder campion thrives in relatively well-drained soil and requires full sun or partial shade. It grows up to 90cm high so allow space for growth. Harvest the tastiest leaves (which have a slightly sweet pea-like flavour) from around the base of the plant. As with many plants the older leaves can be bitter so avoid if you don’t like this. Use in salads, stir fries and risottos.
