Daubenton kale (Brassica Oleracea var Ramosa)

Daubenton kale can grow up to a metre in height so take this into consideration when planting in your garden or allotment plot. It’s happy in most soil types and from sandy to heavy clay though prefers to be in a well-drained location if possible. The young leaves can be popped into salads and the more mature leaves can be cooked, tasting something like purple sprouting.
